Aeroponics First Planting Progress Day 10

Aeroponics Plant Progress

Sorry about missing yesterday! Things got out of hand and we forgot. Never fear! Not much happened and now we have more pictures to show you.

You’ll notice some whithering of the root going into the chamber here. Two of the four remaining peas look like this.

If you zoom in close, you can see even more forking of the long root! This is starting to look like an actual root system.

That’s it for today.

Hello,

Thanks for posting your aeroponics experiment.
I am interested in the subject and am considering setting up a similar experiment in order to get myself more familiar this growing method.

The only areas that I am a little hazy on are the electrical parts and procedures which I will probably have to research a bit more as I have not had any training in this subject.

Thanks again.

Hey there,

Thanks for your interest in the aeroponics project! We are glad to hear that you are considering creating your own system. Let us know if you have any questions.

As far as the electrical parts and procedures goes, we learned a lot of it by trial, error, and the internet. We have a power supply set up in one of our aeroponics post as well as some code for the Arduino, so that should help you out. We wish you luck!
