- Contest Winner!
For those of you familiar with Urban Survivalists, you will notice that we have been working our gluts off trying to get a working rain water storage system going. Well, we thought we would take a break from that and give you all a chance to participate with us and win an Urban Survivalists T-shirt!
So what do you have to do?
Write us a short summary of your own definition of “sustainability”. Here at Urban Survivalists, we have noticed that being green has almost become a frenzy recently, in a good way. Tell us your definition of sustainability and why you think a sustainable future is a good goal. Then tell us about the changes you wish to see in the world that are directly related to sustainability.
Minimum length is 300 words, and the maximum length is 700 words. No more than 5 images per entry. Entries must be written in English and come in either Word or OpenOffice compatible formats. In all honesty we prefer OpenOffice but we won’t discriminate, promise.
Keep in mind that the winner will have their entry featured in one of our posts, so pictures are good!
Where do I send my entry?
Please send entries to our official email address urbansurvivalists@gmail.com no later than February 20th 2009.
What can you win?
The winner will be featured in one of our upcoming posts with the winning entry. Not to mention, we are going to give you this very snazzy t-shirt for FREE!

Here is an image of the prize for the best answer. Winner will get their choice of color and size.
How the winner will be determined?
P&S will be reading through the entries and determining the winner by some basic criteria:
1. Completeness. Make sure to address all of the items asked for.
2. Grammar. Yeah I know, lets use some correct grammar here please.
3. Creativeness. This includes eloquent sentence structures and meaningful phrases. Inspire us!
When do you get your prize?
We will be emailing the winner and asking for their choice in color and size of the t-shirt. So, it will be ordered after the winner gives us their specifications.
